Welcome to my personal website! My name is Yujie (Elena) Pu, and I am currently an instructor of imperial Chinese history in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research interests include the social and cultural history of late imperial China, global history of medicine and psychiatry, legal history, intersection of medicine and religion, and Manchu texts.
